This place needs you, your ideas, suggestions, your knowledge, your experience, your participation... I've only been trying to put a framework in place for the community to be able to take over and make it into what it can become. A resource for the community to create, shape, and use. It's for all of you! It's meant to share, as a community. I will continue to add developer information, and some other odds and ends. But this is a community forum, where you make the magic happen. Without all the great folks we have in the community, it won't be much more than it is. It can only become a success if people in the community actually use it. I hope you like the idea, and I hope you will enjoy using it and help to create its resources. Thank you for your support! jeff

Howdy. This centralized forum is a great idea, but I'm selfish, it is something that I really need. I hope it takes off and does become a center of independent/community knowledge for all.
Good luck.

Still working - @ present, I'm working on organizing some good links and information offline for a while to make it easier to input in various places here. If it looks like I'm not doing anything, please don't think I'm ignoring things...just work better less distracted. Carry on! jeff

Hi, just joined. I'm really looking forward to seeing this forum take off as I believe that tablets such as the iPad are the future of music production. I'm a rank beginner when it comes to music, well, I can play the guitar, but very badly
About a month and half ago I downloaded Korg Gadget and I've been utterly transfixed by it. Just after downloading it I realised it was not going to be a quick thing like Figure so I've crammed up on musical theory. I've produced a few tracks, but my amateurism shows. Since then I've acquired quite a number of music related apps including various synths, and a couple of very interesting "input" apps such as SoundPrism.
I'm mostly into electronica, and quite frankly IMO the iPad is so suited to this genre given the soft synths, step sequencers and DAW apps available for it.
I wish you all good luck with getting this forum off the ground - of course that relies on he members, like me, providing the content, and I'll endeavour to do my bit.
